Regional Yajilin Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to draw a single, closed loop and shade some cells, subject to the following rules:

1. Numbered cells indicate the amount of shaded cells in the corresponding region..
2. Shaded cells cannot touch horizontally or vertically but may touch diagonally. 
3. All remaining white cells should be traversed by a single closed loop, with no branches and which doesn't cross itself.

Masyu Slalom Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to draw a loop around the grid, subject to the following rules:

1. White circles must be travelled straight through and must turn in the previous and/or next cell in its path.
2. The loop must turn in black cells and must travel straight through the next and previous cells in its path.
3. The loop mustn't cross or branch off.
4. All gates must be travelled straight through exactly once without any turns.
5. Some gates and circles are numbered and must be passed in sequence, according to the number of the gate.

Battlestar Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to place stars in each row and column, subject to the following rules:

1. The number of stars in each row and column is equal to the number at the bottom right.
2. Stars cannot touch vertically, horizontally or diagonally.

Train Tracks Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to draw a single path which connects the two black circles, subject to the following rules:

1. Numbered cells indicate the number of cells with a path in the corresponding row or column.
2. There are no crossings, branches or loops.
3. All cells shown are part of the path.

Hexagonal Kurokuron Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to shade connected cells in each region, subject to the following rules:

1. Areas contain two identical shapes, which may be reflected or rotated.
2. No two shapes may share an edge.
3. Clues indicate the size of the first shape encountered in the corresponding direction.

Tight-fit Arrow Sudoku Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to fill in the numbers 1 to n in the grid, subject to the following rules:

1. Insert numbers between 1 and n so that there is 1 number in each cell without a slash and 2 numbers in each cell with a slash. 
2. In cells with a slash, the smaller number always goes above the larger number.
3. Each area contains the numbers 1 to n.
4. The sum of the numbers along the arrow equals the number in the circled cell. Numbers in cells with a slash are treated as fractions.

Persistence Of Memory Instructions

Rules: The objective is to draw a line linking the 2 black circles, subject to the following rules:

1. The line is 1-cell thick and travels vertically and horizontally. 
2. The snake cannot touch itself, even diagonally.
3. All highlighted regions must be visited and may be re-entered.
4. Where 2 regions have the same shape and orientation, the path the line travels must be the same.

Windows Tapa Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to shade some cells, subject to the following rules:

1. All shaded cells must eventually connect, but must not form 2x2 areas.
2. Numbers on some cells indicate the number of consecutive shaded cells around that cell, if there is more than one number then there must be at least one unshaded cell between the shaded regions, "?" is wild and can stand for any number between 1 and 8.
3. Cells with numbers can never be shaded.
4. The pattern of shaded and unshaded cells in the solid box must be the inverse of the pattern of shaded and unshaded cells in the dashed box of the same colour. The orientation of which stays the same.

2. Shaded cells must form rectangles, independently to the region borders.
3. Shaded rectangles must not touch horizontally or vertically.

Nurikabe Pentominoes Instuctions

Rules: The objective is to divide the grid into shaded and unshaded cells, subject to the following rules:

1. Each lettered cell is an island cell, the letter in it indicates the pentomino it is part of (tetrominoes used in the example below).
2. Each island contains exactly one lettered cell.
3. There must be only one stream, which is not allowed to contain "pools", i.e. 2x2 areas of shaded cells.

Kurotto Instuctions

Rules: The objective is to divide the grid into shaded and unshaded cells, subject to the following rules:

1. Numbers represent the sum of groups of shaded cells that are horizontally and vertically connected to that cell.
2. Cells with circles can not be shaded.

Nanro Signpost Instructions

The objective is insert numbers, subject to the following rules:

1. Each area must contain at least one numbered cell.
2. Numbers in some cells count the total of numbered cells in that area, however that cell may not contain a number upon completion.
3. Where two numbers connect across a boundary between areas, those numbers must be different.
4. Numbers must form one connected area with no 2x2 areas of numbered cells.

Yajisan-Kazusan Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to shade some cells, subject to the following rules:

1. All unshaded cells must eventually connect and shaded cells may not share an edge.
2. Clues on some cells indicate the number of  shaded cells in the direction of the arrow.
3. Cells with clues may be shaded, and if they are, then the clue may be true or false.

Rules: The challenge is to shade four connected cells in each region, subject to the following rules:

1. No two of the same tetrominos, including rotations / reflections are allowed to touch.
2. All shaded cells must connect upon completion.
3. No 2x2 area of shaded cells is allowed.
4. Some cells include a letter. If the corresponding cell is shaded then the tetromino must match the letter.  

Regional Masyu Instructions
