Puzzle 69: Heyawaky

Instructions

Theme: Aztec

Heyawacky Instructions

Rules: The challenge is to shade some cells on the grid, subject to the following rules:
  1. Shaded cells must never touch horizontally or vertically
  2. Unshaded cells must form one, connected area.
  3. Numbers dictate how many shaded cells are in a room, also a straight line of unshaded cells can only cross over, at most, one border, even in the event of the line running over two rooms.

Rules: The challenge is to fill in the numbers 1 to n in the grid, subject to the following rules:
  1. There are the numbers 1 to n in each row and column.
  2. Each area of size n also has the numbers 1 to n.
  3. Areas may also exit one side of the grid and enter via the other side, these areas must still contain the numbers 1 to n.

Rules: The challenge is to shade some cells on the grid, subject to the following rules:
  1. Shaded cells must never touch horizontally or vertically
  2. Unshaded cells must form one, connected area.
  3. Superscript numbers dictate how many shaded cells are in a room, also a straight line of unshaded cells can only connect two rooms i.e. any such line of white cells which connects three or more rooms is forbidden.
  4. No two numbers the same can remain unshaded in the same row or column.

Rules: The challenge is to shade some cells, subject to the following rules:
  1. Each island contains exactly two numbered cells, the sum of which indicates the size of that island.
  2. There must be only one stream, which is not allowed to contain "pools", i.e. 2x2 areas of shaded cells.
